Biography:

Alestra and Tristan are twin that were born on the Continent of Brithal in the magical land of Aeria to the Nobel Mage family of Astrall. The family Astrall were in the middle of a bloody magical feud with a rival family of Nobel Mages the Zewrath when the twins were born. The war was long, brutal, and had torn both families apart, leaving only a handful of survivors on each side. So when Alestra and Trisan were born it was a blessing to their parents that brought hope for the whole family. The matriarch of the family and the most powerful of the Astrall Mages Killeth blessed the children on their birth a powerful protection spell in the hopes they would grow up safe to lead the family Astrall to victory.

Their mother Nian however did not want them to grow up and join the fighting, she wanted her children to grow up in peace. So in the middle of the night she bundled up her new born children and tried to sneak out of the Astrall estate. She was killed however by a Zewrath agent who thought she was trying to make a sneak attack on the Zewrath family. Nian before she died however cast a spell to save her children and send them to the mysterious forest below. The spell however interacted with the protection spell that Killeth had cast and sent the twins to a small village the forest below but not all the way.

The twins from then on were forever joined their souls bound together for all time. As the sun rose in the morning Alestra was to walk the land, but as the sun set Tristan gained control being magically returned as he was the night before.

With the disappearance of the twins and the death of Nian the Asrtall family feared the worst and went to full out war with the Zewarth family. Both sides were wiped out in the conflict. Leaving Alestra and Tristan to grow up in the small poor village where they appeared never knowing their family, or why they were joined together as they were.
